"Does it get any more festive than a delicious, decorative cheeseball?! Who needs Christmas ornaments when you can display this savoury, low carb appetizer for all to enjoy?! This no-bake recipe is perfect for the cheese lover in all of us and is super keto-friendly even with our Eve’s Crackers to use to dip! Keep it low carb this holiday season with an easy to make appetizer that can even serve as Keto meal prep if there are leftovers (check out the tips below)!"
Servings: 10 | Prep time: 25 minutes | Total time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Cheeseball
12 oz of cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
½ cup of cheddar cheese (shredded)
3 tbsp of mayonnaise
¼ cup of fresh dill (chopped)
1 tbsp of Philosophie Green Dream Savoury Blend
1 tbsp of garlic powder
Optional: 2 strips of bacon (cut into small pieces)
Outer Coating
¼ cup of slivered almonds
¼ cup of Coconut Oil & Himalayan Pili Nuts (chopped)
¼ cup of dill
2 tbsp of cranberries
Directions:
- Add all cheeseball ingredients into one large bowl and mix using a spatula to ensure spices, chopped pieces, and shredded cheese is distributed evenly
- Form mixture into a ball and allow it to set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
- While the cheeseball is setting, prepare your ingredients for the outer coating
- In a small bowl, mix outer coating ingredients
- When cheeseball has set, pour outer coating ingredients into the large bowl and roll cheeseball into the mixture, pressing mixture into the cheeseball if necessary
- Serve and ENJOY!
